The Dartmouth College women's soccer team (3-7-0, 1-1-0 Ivy) continues Ivy League action with a matchup at Yale on Saturday (Oct. 8). The Big Green and Bulldogs kickoff at 5:30 p.m., at Yale's Reese Stadium in the second game of a doubleheader between the Dartmouth and Yale men's teams.

Home Sweet Burnham - With Saturday's win over Princeton, the Dartmouth women's soccer team improved to 3-1-0 on its home field. The Big Green's remaining home contests are against Ivy League foes Columbia (Oct. 22) and Cornell (Nov. 5). Including this season, the Big Green has a 34-8-4 record on their home field.

O'Dea Finds the Net - Senior forward Aly O'Dea (Irvine, Calif.) netted her first goal of the season and her 15th career goal in Dartmouth's 1-0 win over Princeton (Oct. 1).  O'Dea's goal is one of four goals the Big Green has scored at Burnham Field this season.

Back on Track - The Big Green got back on track in Ivy League action with its win over Princeton (Oct.1). The win gave the Big Green its fourth consecutive Ivy League home-opening win. Dartmouth has won six of its last nine Ivy League-openers. Dartmouth dropped its Ivy opener to Brown to open the conference slate, which was its first loss in the Ivy opener in three seasons.

O'Dea Named to Ivy League Honor Roll - Senior forward Aly O'Dea (Irvine, Calif.) earned a spot on the Ivy League Honor Roll for her goal against Princeton (Oct. 1). She becomes the third Dartmouth player to earn honor roll accolades this season, freshman forward Tasha Wilkins (Portland, Ore.) and sophomore midfielder Chrissy Lozier (Fairfield, Conn.) were also named to the honor roll earlier this season.

Losing Streak Snapped - With Dartmouth's win over Princeton (Oct. 1), the Big Green snapped a three-game losing streak --the longest losing streak of the season to date. Dartmouth's goal was also the first goal for the squad in the last two games. Dartmouth hasn't scored more than two goals in a game this season.

One Goal Away - Seven of Dartmouth's last eight games have been decided by one goal, including each of the last five games. The Big Green has a 3-4-0 record in games decided by one goal and hasn't allowed more than three goals in a game this season.

In Need of a Road Win - Dartmouth is looking for its first road win of the season when it travels to Yale this weekend. The Big Green has a 0-6-0 record on the road and has only scored one goal on the road this season. Dartmouth is looking for its second consecutive winning Ivy League road record.

Captain My Captain - The Big Green have named three upperclassmen as captains for the 2011 season. Seniors Ally Dutton (Granite Bay, Calif.) and Erin Fleischli (San Mateo, Calif.) and junior Kim Rose (Seaford, N.Y.) will wear the captain's armband this season.

Looking at Yale  -- Yale enters Saturday's game with a 4-4-2, 1-1-0 Ivy League record after dropping a 2-1 overtime contest to Harvard on Saturday (Oct. 1). The Big Green leads the all-time series, 18-17-2, but has lost the last three contests against the Bulldogs. Yale enters the contest with wins in three of its last four games. Yale has a 3-1-2 record at Reese Stadium and prior to the Harvard loss hadn't dropped a home contest all season. Melissa Gavin and Meredith Speck lead the Bulldog offense with three goals apiece while Enma Mullo has a team-best three assists.  Adel Jackson-Gibson, with a 0.87 goals against average, leads the Yale defense and has 40 saves on the season.
