PRINCETON, N.J.  –  Junior Tatiana Saunders of the Dartmouth women’s soccer team was named the Ivy League Co-Player of the Week, sharing the award with Columbia’s Chelsea Ryan, as announced by the conference office on Monday morning.

Saunders has started all six games this season for the Big Green with two shutouts and posts a 1.47 goals against average. This past week, Saunders played in all 200 minutes for the Big Green, a scoreless tie with St. John’s and a 1-0 win over Maine.

Against the Red Storm on Friday, the junior netminder made eight saves, four coming off the foot of SJU leading scorer Rachel Daly. On Sunday, Saunders picked up her second clean sheet of the week and faced four shots in the win over the Black Bears.

Dartmouth will host UMass Lowell on Thursday evening and then begin Ivy League play at Brown on Sunday.
