CHICAGO – Dartmouth assistant women’s soccer coach Brittany Cameron, a goalkeeper for the Sky Blue FC, was named National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) Player of the Month for the month of May.
Cameron recorded four consecutive shutouts and backstopped the Sky Blue to a 4-1-1 record in the month of May. She stopped 17 straight shots on goal during the streak and has not allowed a goal in the last 360 minutes of play – and just one goal in the last 520 minutes.
The California native was also named NWSL Player of the Week on April 17 and currently leads the league with five shutouts on the season. She is tied for the league lead in goals against average at 0.5.
