NEW YORK, N.Y. – Senior Nicola Zimmer and sophomore Daisy Jordan set  career-highs and the Dartmouth women’s basketball team scored a season-best as they defeated Columbia 82-75 on Friday evening at Levine Gym.

Zimmer led four players in double figures with 23 points. Jordan joined Zimmer in setting a new high with 19 points. Junior Abbey Schmitt chipped in 15 and classmate Milica Toskovic had 10.

The Big Green entered the final stanza with a 45-31 lead and continued to hold a double-digit lead until 2:45 when Tori Oliver hit a layup to cut the deficit to 74-65. Columbia would decrease Dartmouth advantage, but timely free throws by Zimmer and Toskovic preserved the win.

Zimmer led the team with 13 points and Jordan chipped in 12 on 6-of-8 from the floor.
