Starting Five
1. Dartmouth is looking to snap its current seven-game win
streak when its travels to Cornell and Columbia this weekend. With two wins the
Big Green, will earn six league victories for the first time since the 2009-10
season, when they also reached six wins.
2. The Big Green can earn their second consecutive sweep of Columbia with a win over the Lions on Saturday. Columbia was the only team Dartmouth earned a sweep of last season.
3. The Big Green are seeking a little revenge against Cornell. The teams met in Hanover on Tuesday night with the Big Red earning a 53-45 win over Dartmouth in the final three minutes. Dartmouth is looking for its first road win in Ithaca since 2009-10. The win would give Dartmouth and Cornell a split for the third straight season.
4. Rookie Lakin Roland picked up her second Ivy League Rookie of the Week honor after posting 20 points and 12 rebounds in the Big Green's heartbreaking 68-60 loss to Princeton on Saturday. She is the first player to score 20 points this season and joins Abbey Schmitt as the two players to earn double-doubles in their first career starts.
5. Dartmouth is looking for a strong finish to the season. With two games left on the schedule, should the Big Green win out, they have a chance to end the season with six Ivy League wins and more than six overall wins since 2009-10.
