Steen and co-captain Nicola Zimmer (Chevy Chase, Md.) will be called upon to lead a young squad in 2012-13. The Big Green features just one senior in Steen, two juniors and 11 underclassmen. The squad welcomes seven freshmen for the 2012-13 season.

The Big Green open the 2012-13 season on Nov. 10 when they travel to Smithfield, R.I., to take on Bryant University. Dartmouth opens the home slate on Nov. 13 when they welcome BYU to Leede Arena.
