|Position:||Director External Relations, Recruiting/Operations|
|Alma Mater:||Castleton State|
Since joining the football staff in the summer of 2012, Joey McIntyre has had an active role in making certain the program runs smoothly behind the scenes first as the director of football operations before adding external relations and recruiting to his scope.
No stranger to the Upper Valley, McIntyre is a Vermont native and attended Castleton State, where he received his bachelor’s degree in sports administration while minoring in coaching and business administration. He went on to join the staff at the Upper Valley Aquatic Center in White River Junction, Vt., when the facility opened its doors in 2009, elevating from a part-time employee to the director of customer services.
Meanwhile, McIntyre also served as the wide receivers coach and the freshman defensive coordinator at Hartford High School, which has won the state title four of the past five years, including 2011 with a perfect 11-0 record. Among his responsibilities were summer camp, preseason and in-season practice planning, and charting offensive and defensive plays.
McIntyre took a postgraduate year at Bridgton Academy and played football there, then went to Bryant University to play on the gridiron. He transferred to Castleton State and was a member of the hockey and lacrosse programs while earning his degree.
