HANOVER, N.H. — The Ivy League released its men’s basketball television schedule today, in conjunction with the NBC Sports Group, and the Dartmouth game at Harvard on Saturday, Jan. 26 is one of the 10 games that will be broadcast nationally on NBC Sports Network. An 11th game in the package will be aired on CBS Sports Network.
The Big Green will feature one of the youngest teams in the nation with just two upperclassmen returning from a squad that went 5-25 in 2011-12. But the sophomore class earned a total of 10 Ivy League Rookie of the Week awards as freshmen last year, indicating that Dartmouth is a team on the rise. With seven more freshmen joining the team in Hanover this year, the Big Green will attempt to defeat the reigning Ivy League champion on the national television stage.
The complete Dartmouth schedule can be found on the official website of Big Green athletics, DartmouthSports.com. For the list of the 11 games featuring Ivy schools to be televised, visit the Ivy League athletics website.
