HANOVER, N.H. — The Capital One Academic All-District Teams for men’s basketball were announced today by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), and Dartmouth sophomore Connor Boehm was among the six selected for the squad from District I. He is the only sophomore to be chosen, and one of just seven second-year players named to the eight district teams.

Boehm, a 6-7 forward from Winnetka, Ill., sports a 3.60 grade-point average and is second on the Big Green with 11.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. A career 50.1 percent shooter, the product of New Trier High School leads the Ivy League in field goal percentage (.563), ranks 10th in rebounding and 16th in scoring.

Some of his best performances have come against some of the best teams on the Dartmouth schedule. On Dec. 10, Boehm scored a season-high 17 points in a homecoming of sorts at the University of Illinois, and two weeks ago he secured a season-best 11 rebounds against St. John’s of the Big East. He has scored at least 10 points in a game 10 times this season while starting all but one game for the 7-9 Big Green.

Boehm was joined by two other Ivy Leaguers on the all-district squad — Brown’s Rafael Maia and Yale’s Matt Townsend.

Dartmouth returns to the court this weekend in search of its first Ivy League win of the year when it hosts Penn (4-11, 1-0 Ivy) on Friday night and Princeton (12-3, 0-1 Ivy) on Saturday. Both games tip off at 7 p.m. and will be streamed live via Big Green Insider on the Ivy League Digital Network with Dave Collins calling all of the action.
