HANOVER, N.H. - Andi Bentley has been named an assistant coach with the Dartmouth College volleyball program, head coach Erin Lindsey has announced. Bentley will assist with the serve receive and defensive players.

"We are so excited to welcome Andi to the Dartmouth volleyball family," Coach Lindsey said. "She brings to the program a great amount of passion and enthusiasm for teaching volleyball and for mentoring student-athletes. Andi will work predominantly with our serve receive passers and defensive players due to her playing experience in the Libero position at NC State. We are thrilled to have someone as hard-working and energetic as Andi to assist in bringing Dartmouth volleyball to the top of the Ivy League."

Bentley comes to Dartmouth after spending the past year as a volunteer assistant coach at her alma mater, North Carolina State University. With NC State, she worked with the defense and serve receive systems, helping the team to a 20-win season.

As a member of the Wolfpack, she led in several statistical categories and currently stands ninth all-time in career digs with 1,132.

During her collegiate playing career, Bentley also tallied several academic honors. In addition to being honored as an Academic All-American, she was twice named to the All-ACC Academic Team and was an NC State Scholar-Athlete. She also earned multiple spots on the Dean's List and ACC Honor Roll.
