HANOVER, N.H. - After a four-game homestand came to an end last Saturday, the Dartmouth volleyball team returns to the road this weekend, taking on Columbia and Cornell in Ivy League action. The Big Green will face the Lions Friday night (7 p.m.), followed by the Big Red Saturday (5 p.m.).

Dartmouth is attempting to bounce back from a five-game losing skid, having fallen to four straight League opponents at home over the past two weekends. Last week, the Big Green were defeated by Yale, 3-1 before being swept by Brown, 3-0 the following night at Leede Arena.

The Green and White has had success against Columbia in the past, holding an 18-9 advantage in the all-time series. The Lions, however, have won the last four matchups, including two straight five-set matches during last year's series.

Against the Big Red, Dartmouth trails, 20-12 in all-time series. The Big Green has won the past five meetings, however, three of which were five-set victories.

Sophomore Alex Schoenberger is at the top of the stat sheet with 145 kills on the season. Averaging 2.79 kills/set, she also has 22 blocks and 72 digs on the year. Rookie hitter Paige Caridi is not far behind with 135 kills, adding 139 digs. Sophomore defensive specialist Holly Harper is tops on the team in digs with 173, averaging 3.26 per set. Sophomore setter Lucia Pohlman has a team-best 20 service aces and is second on the squad with 23 blocks, behind only Elisa Scudder, who has 46.
