HANOVER, N.H. - The Dartmouth volleyball team is back on the road, heading to Fairfield, Conn. for the Sacred Heart Tournament beginning Friday. The Big Green, still looking for their first win of the season, will face Fairfield, Sacred Heart and Central Florida in a trio of matches over the weekend.

Last weekend, Dartmouth kicked off the 2012 season at the UConn Classic in Storrs. Facing some tough competition in UConn, Michigan State and Fairfield, the young visitors failed to win a set, falling to 0-3 on the year. Junior Elisa Scudder highlighted the weekend, leading the Big Green in attack percentage () and blocks () to be named to the All Tournament Team.

Dartmouth will be looking for revenge Friday against Fairfield, as the two squads will face off for the second straight match. Last time out, Fairfield edged the Big Green, 25-16, 25-20 and 25-20 as Dartmouth continued to struggle in its system.

Tournament action continues Saturday, with the Big Green facing Sacred Heart for the sixth time in program history. Dartmouth wraps up the road trip Sunday with a final match against Central Florida.

Sophomore Alex Schoenberger leads the team in kills (21) while Scudder and freshman Paige Caridi follow with 15 and 14, respectively. Rookie Kayden Cook has 37 assists on the year, splitting setting time with senior captain Alissa Santa Maria, who has 27. Sophomore transfer Holly Harper is tops in digs (36) while freshman Allison Brady leads the squad in attack percentage (.421).
