BOSTON – The Dartmouth women’s indoor track & field team claimed second at the 2018 New England Indoor Championship Saturday at the Reggie Lewis Center.

The Big Green finished with 89.5 points, ahead of Boston College (84) and behind only Northeastern (130.5).

In all, three individuals won events as Cha'Mia Rothwell finished first in the 200m (24.20), Maria Garman claimed the top spot in the high jump (1.74m) and Julia Valenti took home the ‘W’ in the pole vault (3.95m).

Additionally, Dartmouth’s 4x800m team claimed a victory, crossing in 9:03.77.

Also running in the 200m with Rothwell was Nicole Deblasio, who took fourth in the final in 25.03. Rothwell was second in the final of the 60m hurdles in 8.31and second in the long jump as well with a 6.05m to her credit.

After Garman, Camille Landon was third in the high jump with a 1.74m to her credit. Brooke Brunet was also third in the pole vault as her best clearance came at 3.75m.

In the weight throw, Amelia Ali was third with a 17.98m coming on her best toss of the day.
