CASTLETROY, Limerick, Ireland – As part of the current European trip, the Dartmouth men’s and women’s track & field teams competed against the University of Limerick on Sunday, June 16.

Held at the UL Bowl, the meet featured the home team from Limerick, the Big Green and Brown.

Connor Reilly was one of the winners on Sunday, taking the victory in the 100m with a 10.94. Other winners included Stephen Mangan and Dana Giordano in both the men’s and women’s 1500m races, Josh Cyphers in the men’s pole vault, Mollie Gribbin in the women’s triple jump, Jeremy Birck in the men’s high jump, Jim Budzinski in the men’s javelin and Emmaline Berg in the women’s shot put.

On Thursday night, the team was back in action at St. Mary's University College in Twickenham, just outside London.

Like they had at Limerick, Dartmouth and Brown formed one team to compete at the dual meet.

Highlights of this day for the Big Green included Birck in the high jump once again (2.08m), Silas Talbot in the men’s 800m (1:51:23), Kaitlin Whitehorn in the women’s 100m (12.33), and Will Geoghegan in the 1500 (3:44.88).

The men’s javelin field also saw Dartmouth claim the top three spots as Brett Gilson (67.32), Budzinski (62.41m) and Jacob Shippee (60.01m) put together a solid showing in the event.
