PRINCETON, N.J. - The women of the Dartmouth track & field team will really get going this weekend at the ECAC Championships on Saturday, but Friday saw two events kick off the weekend in Princeton for the Big Green.

Senior Christina Alexander (Austin, Texas) placed 17th in the discus, the lone non-heptathlon field event of the day. Alexander's third toss of the afternoon was measured at 141-9.0/43.22m. Emmaline Berg (Holliston, Mass.) was also threw the discus for Dartmouth, finishing 22nd with a measurement of 140-8.0/42.88m.

Junior Katie Sullivan (Carmel, N.Y.) also earned 16th in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase in 11:15.90.

The ECACs run in conjunction with the IC4As (men) and continue through Sunday afternoon.
