GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Dartmouth women's track & field team continued its weekend at the 2013 NCAA East Regional at North Carolina A&T's Irwin Belk Track inside Aggie Stadium Friday night.

After running a PR (58.42) in the first round of the 400-meter hurdles Thursday, junior Megan Krumpoch fell just short of her goal of moving on to the national championship meet in two weeks as she earned a 22nd-place finish in the quarterfinals on this day. Krumpoch ran a 1:00.31 Friday as her season came to an end.

It doesn't conclude without some hardware, though, as Krumpoch claimed the Ivy League Outdoor Heptagonal title in the event earlier this month.

The women's high jump saw freshman Kaitlin Whitehorn tie for 16th as she was able to clear 5-9.75/1.77m on her second attempt. Like Krumpoch, Whitehorn will not move on to Eugene, Ore., in two weeks as she just missed out on finishing in the qualifying range.

The final women's event of the day saw a pair of Big Green runners line up for the preliminary heat of the 3000m-steeplechase. Sarah Delozier led the way with a 36th-place finish in 10:36.01, while Katie Sullivan was 44th in 10:43.31.

Just one event remains for Dartmouth on the final day of competition on Saturday as Abbey D'Agostino will run in the national semifinals of the 5000m.
