CAMBRIDGE, Mass.  - In the final tune-up before heading into the winter break, the Dartmouth women's indoor track & field team saw several strong performances at Saturday's Harvard Invitational.

Wins by junior Megan Krumpoch in the 400 meters in 56.80 and sophomore Cathy Liebowitz in the weight throw with a toss of 51-7.75/15.74m highlighted the day at Harvard's Albert H. Gordon Indoor Track.

Other standout performances by Big Green student-athletes came from freshmen Molly Shapiro (12th;16-3.00/4.95m) in the long jump and Kaitlin Whitehorn (2nd; 5-7.00/1.65m) in the high jump.

In the 200 meters, freshman Jennifer Meech took third in 25.46, while also claiming fourth in the 400 meters in 59.15.

The Big Green's 4x440-meter relay team took second in 3:54.47, while freshman Mollie Gribbin was eighth in the 55-meter dash (7.35) and senior Emmaline Berg was second in the shot put (44-0.75/13.93m).

Berg also finished second in the weight throw with a distance of 49-1.00/13.69m.

Gribbin was second in the long jump as well in 18-3.00/5.50m.

In the 800, Emily Grotz claimed third in 2:19.97, while Elizabeth Markowitz was fifth in 2:20.48.

The Big Green will be back in action on January 11-13 at the annual Dartmouth Relays inside the Leverone Field House.
