KINGSTON, R.I. - Junior Janae Dunchack of the Dartmouth women's indoor track & field team took home the top spot in Friday's URI Pentathlon at Mackal Fieldhouse.

Dunchack led a field of 15 competitors with 3,654 points, 90 more than second-place finisher Kalyn Sheehan from the host Rams.

Winner of the last two Ivy League Heptagonal pentathlon individual titles, Dunchack is off to a solid start this season through the Big Green's first two meets of 2012-13.

Sophomore Lauren Ready also competed for Dartmouth, taking 11th with 2,745 points.

The rest of the Big Green will be in Cambridge on Saturday as they will compete at the Harvard Invitational, the final meet of December before the winter break.
