HANOVER, N.H. - Abbey D'Agostino, Dartmouth's sophomore All-American and national champion in the 5,000 meters, continues to garner the attention of the running community as she attempts to qualify for the upcoming Summer Olympics in London.

D'Agostino is currently at the US Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore., at Hayward Field.

The five-time All-American and holder of several Big Green records in multiple events was recently the focus of a feature story on RunnersWorld.com, the sport's premier in the United States.

The piece, written by Amby Burfoot, highlights D'Agostino as an underdog headed in the finals of the 5K Thursday night, but with a strong shot as making a bid to qualify for the US Olympic Team.

Dartmouth fans can watch D'Agostino and former Dartmouth harrier Ben True '08 in the finals of the men's 5,000 live on the NBC Sports Network. The women's race is set for a 10:15 p.m. ET start, while True and the men will get underway at 10:38 p.m. ET.
