CAMBRDIGE, Mass. – Dartmouth women’s tennis made a splash in singles action on Sunday at the ITA Northeast Regionals hosted by Harvard. Jacqueline Crawford and Taylor Ng upset the No. 3 and No. 5 seeds, respectively, in the round of 16.

Both Crawford and Ng advance to the quarterfinals which will take place on Monday, Oct. 21. Ng is also in the doubles quarterfinal with partner Katherine Yau.

In the round of 32, Ng defeated Alana Wolf of Princeton, 2-6, 6-2, 6-4, who was seeded 9th. She then followed that up with a 6-2, 7-5 win over 5th seeded Jessica Wacnik of Boston College.

Crawford defeated Marika Cusick of Cornell, 6-1, 7-5 in the round of 32, and then bounced 3rd seed Madeline Hamilton of Yale, 6-3, 6-0.

Katherine Yau '16 defeated Ksenia Kuzmenko of NJIT 6-1, 7-5 in her round of 32 match before losing a three-hour, three-set battle to Dayna Lord of Brown, 7-6, 6-7, 6-3.

In doubles action, Yau and Ng won their round of 16 doubles match over a duo from Army 8-4, while Suzy Tan and Crawford lost their round of 16, 8-4, to a tandem from Yale.
