HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth women’s tennis team saw doubles success during the first day of the Big Green Invite on Friday, going 4-0 inside the Boss Tennis Center and Gordon Pavilion.

Overall, the team went 11-1 on the opening day adding seven victories in singles action.  In singles action, six of the seven wins came in straight sets. Melissa Matsuoka rallied after dropping the first set to net a three-set, come-from-behind triumph.

In doubles action, the duos Taylor Ng / Katherine Yau and Jacqueline Crawford / Suzy Tan cruised to victories, winning 8-0 and 8-1, respectively.

The Big Green will continue the event on Saturday at 2:00 pm.
