NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Dartmouth women’s tennis team concluded the Ivy Challenge on Sunday with a strong showing in singles action. The Big Green went 5-3 in singles and 1-3 in doubles.

In doubles action, Jacqueline Crawford and Suzy Tan were the lone Dartmouth duo to pick up a win, topping a tandem from Yale, 8-2. Katherine Yau/Taylor Ng and Sarah Bessen/Narni Summerall each lost their matches to the Bulldogs, 8-6.

In singles play, Crawford, Ng, Melissa Matsuoka and Summerall each won in straight sets versus student-athletes from Virginia Tech. Yau picked up the other win for the Big Green topping Raluca Mita from Virginia Tech in a three-set thriller.

Dartmouth returns to action Oct. 16-22 competing in Regionals hosted by Harvard.
