Senior (2013-14): ITA Northeast Most Improved Player … completed her Big Green career with nine singles wins and eight doubles victories … opened the season with a singles victory against #64 Boston College (1/25) and Boston University (2/1) … coupled consecutive singles wins twice during the season … paired consecutive doubles wins three times during the season with Akiko Okuda.
Junior (2012-13): During her third year on campus, Matsuoka appeared in 34 matches, racking up 11 singles wins and seven doubles triumphs... Had an 11-7 record in singles play and 7-9 record in doubles... After dropping her first singles match during the dual match seaosn, she won six straight games... Registered Ivy League singles wins over No. 72 Cornell, No. 68 Princeton and Brown... Won a doubles conference match against the Tigers... Won four straight doubles matches in the middle of the season at No. 2 with partner Sarah Bessen.
Sophomore (2011-12): In her second season, Matsuoka appeared in five matches, competing three times in singles and twice in doubles... in singles action, she was 0-3 in Ivy League play competing at the No. 3 and No. 4 position... in doubles, she was 0-2, dropping a match at No. 1 with Jeri Reichel against No. 45 Boston College.
