Robinson made his collegiate debut on Saturday, starting in left field at 13th-ranked Louisiana State. The native of Chesterfield, Mo., rapped out a pair of hits, walked once and scored two of Dartmouth’s three runs in a 16-3 loss to the Tigers. The next day, he got the start in center field, driving home the first Big Green run with a single in the fifth inning, then leading off the seventh with a single and coming around to score the go-ahead run in an eventual 5-4 defeat.
The left-hander hitting Robinson finished the weekend going 4-for-6 with a walk, three runs scored and an RBI. His on-base percentage was .714 and he caught all four fly balls that came his way.
Dartmouth returns to the diamond on Thursday, March 15 at Sacramento State to start a nine-game trip in California.
