Stephanie Bambury enters her third season with the Dartmouth Athletic Department and was named Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Promotions in September of 2012.
Bambury is primarily responsible for developing creative marketing plans for football, men’s and women’s hockey and basketball, along with men’s and women’s soccer and lacrosse. She also manages the day-to-day operations of the Big Green marketing efforts, which include in-game promotions, sponsor relations as well as social media.
Prior to Dartmouth, Bambury worked for the Boston Red Sox in Fort Myers, Fla., for Spring Training in 2011, as the Coordinator of Game Day Presentation and Community Relations. Later that summer, she continued to work for the Red Sox in Boston in the Fan Services and Entertainment department assisting in the planning and execution of pre-game ceremonies.
During the summer of 2010, Bambury served as the Operations Manager for the Vermont Lake Monsters, the single-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. She also worked in the Hockey East Association office in 2009-10. Bambury was part of the staff that ran the first ever Frozen Fenway college hockey doubleheader in January of 2010.
Bambury is a native of Reading, Mass., and is a 2009 graduate of Saint Michael’s College (Vt.) with a bachelor’s degree in business and minors in marketing and international business.
