Dartmouth Head Baseball Coach Bob Whalen announced today the Big Green's upcoming holiday camps to be held Dec. 7-8. The two-day camp, which will feature one day for hitting and one for either pitching/catching or infield defense, will be open to anyone between the ages of 14-18.
The Dartmouth Baseball Skills Camp is designed to provide quality instruction in hitting, pitching, catching and infield defense from the Dartmouth coaching staff as well as other New England college and high school coaches. The two-day camp will be held in Dartmouth's 91,000-square foot indoor facility, Leverone Field House.
Day one of the skills camp (Dec. 7) will cover the offensive side of the game. Skills to be covered include swing mechanics, power development and a discussion on the mental approach. Day two (Dec. 8) will be split into two disciplines — pitching and catching, and infield defense.
Tution for each camp is $175, or $325 for the two days, with enrollment being limited to 36 for each day. To receive additional information or register for the camp, please contact head coach Bob Whalen at Robert.D.Whalen@dartmouth.edu or download the registration form on this page.
