HANOVER, N.H. - The season may be over for a majority of both the Dartmouth men's and women's cross country teams, but two runners currently remain in-season and will represent the Big Green at Monday's NCAA Championship Meet in Terre Haute, Ind.

Sophomore Abbey D'Agostino (Topsfield, Mass.) and senior Ethan Shaw (Falmouth, Maine) will be the two lone Dartmouth runners on the Lavern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course come Monday afternoon. Indiana State will host the meet.

D'Agostino and Shaw ran on this same course earlier this season at the Pre-National Invitational back on Oct. 16. D'Agostino placed second (20:23) in the women's 6K in a field of 303 runners from across the nation. Shaw also ran well, finishing 24th (24:44) in the men's 8K. The men's race featured 296 runners from teams all over the US.

Both were individual Heps champions this fall and both qualified for Monday's national championship meet with strong showings at regionals two weeks ago. Shaw was sixth in suburban Buffalo to lock of the third at-large bid that day. D'Agostino became the first Dartmouth women to win the individual title at the regional meet and was subsequently named the USTFCCCA's Northeast Region Female Athlete of the Year.

The men's race will begin Monday at 12:08 p.m., with the women's race slated for a 12:58 start. NCAA.com will live stream both races.
