BOSTON – The Dartmouth women’s cross country team finished 14th Saturday afternoon at the 2013 New England Championship at Franklin Park in Boston.

Freshman Helen Schlachtenhaufen was the top Big Green runner, crossing the line in 18:40, good for 53rd on the 5K course.

New Hampshire was the top team with 57 points, while Yale led the Ivies there competigin, taking third with 180. Dartmouth's 381 points were 14th in the standings.

Junior Claudia Pham and freshman Erin McConnell were 67th and 68th, respectively, with times of 18:49 and 18:50. Ashley Ulrich was 89th in 19:00, while the final harrier to earn points for the Green was Reid Watson in 19:09, good for 104th.

Dartmouth’s top runners will be back in action next weekend as the team will make the trip to compete at the Wisconsin Invitational in Madison.
