HANOVER, N.H. - Three Dartmouth runners have been recognized with All-Northeast Region honors as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Monday morning.

Sophomore Dylan O'Sullivan and junior Will Geoghegan of the men's cross country team and junior Abbey D'Agostino of the women's program were recognized by the organization as individuals who finished in the top 25 of their respective races at the Northeast Regional Friday afternoon at Hammonasset State Park in Madison, Conn.

D'Agostino won the women's individual title for the second year in a row, coming back from injury to take the top spot in 19:51.1. The Topsfield, Mass., native had not raced competitively for the Big Green since dominating the field at the Paul Short Invitational back on Sept. 28.

Geoghegan once again paced the men's team with a 17th-place finish in 30:37.4. O'Sullivan just got in under the wire by claiming 25th in 31:04.3, earning the team's second all-region honor and helping the Big Green to a fourth-place team finish.

Although the men's cross country season has ended, D'Agostino will head to the NCAA Championship Meet this Saturday (Nov. 17) in Louisville, Ky. The 6K race will be held at the E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park and is set to get underway at noon. She was third at last year's meet, earning All-American First Team recognition in the process.
