PRINCETON, N.J.  –  Freshman James Hickok of the Dartmouth men’s soccer team claimed his second consecutive Ivy League Rookie of the Week award, after posting his second straight shutout of the year, as announced by the league office.

Hickok made six saves in 110 minutes on Sunday in a scoreless tie with tournament host South Carolina. This is also the third consecutive weekly award for the team, as sophomore Stefan Cleveland was named Ivy League Player of the Week to begin the season.

To date, Hickok is 2-0-1 with a 0.60 goals against average and a .875 save percentage. His GAA and save percentage currently sit him second in the Ivy League, just below Cleveland.

Hickok joins Columbia netminder Kyle Jackson as the last goalie to win the weekly award consecutively.

Dartmouth (3-0-3), unbeaten through six matches for the first time since 2003, will host Albany on Saturday afternoon at 4 pm.
