HANOVER, N.H. – First-year head coach Chad Riley has announced the 2013 Dartmouth men’s soccer schedule as the Big Green will take to the pitch 17 times. Ten of those contests are set to be played in the Upper Valley at Burnham Field.

The Green and White start the year with four straight home tilts. The season opener welcomes non-conference foe Holy Cross (Sept. 7) to town. Before ACC rival Boston College makes the trek north two days later. The homestand ends with two more non-conference games against Lafayette (Sept. 13) and UMass (Sept. 15).

The first road trip of the season comes when the Big Green travel to the Palmetto State to square off with SEC members Kentucky (Sept. 20) and South Carolina (Sept. 22) in the Gamecock Classic.

Dartmouth returns home for its second-to-last homestand of the season taking on Albany (Sept. 28) and regional-rival Vermont (Oct. 1). Following the contest with the Catamounts, the Big Green open their Ivy League slate versus Princeton (Oct. 5). Riley’s squad looks to avenge a 2-1 overtime loss to the Tigers a year ago in the conference opener.

After the game with Princeton, Dartmouth hits the road for three straight. The first Ivy away game of the campaign comes against Yale (Oct. 12). A week later, the Big Green head to the City of Brotherly Love to face Penn. The final non-conference game of the season comes at Colgate (Oct. 22).

The remainder of the home schedule will see Columbia (Oct. 26), New Hampshire (Oct. 29) and Cornell (Nov. 9) make their way to Burnham Field.

Dartmouth’s final conference road games come against Harvard (Nov. 2) and Brown (Nov. 16).
