HANOVER, N.H.- As the Dartmouth men's soccer team gears up for the 2012 season, senior captain Kevin Dzierzawski (Oakland Township, Mich.) and Alex Adelabu (Houston, Texas) have earned spots on the College Sports Madness Preseason All-Conference team. Dzierzawski landed on the first team at the midfield position and while Adelabu is a second team selection as a forward.

Dzierzawski is coming off of an incredible 2011 campaign. He started 17 contests on the year tallying 15 points with four goals and a team-best seven assists. He marked the season with his first career first team All-Ivy League selection and also earned ECAC All-Star Team second team honors. Additionally, he was named to the Dartmouth Classic All-Tournament team.

Adelabu, a forward, saw action in 15 games with six starts as a rookie. He tallied five points on two goals and one assist. He was fifth on the team with 10 shots and tallied his first career assists against Tulsa.  For his two-goal efforts against South Carolina and South Florida, he also earned Dartmouth Classic All-Tournament team honors.

Princeton's Matt Sanner was named Offensive Player of the Year, while Brown's Dylan Remick earned Defensive Player of the Year honors.  Princeton's Brendan McSherry earned Freshman of the Year accolades while Brown head coach Patrick Laughlin earned Coach of the Year honors.

The Big Green kicks off the 2012 season on Friday, Aug. 31 when they travel to Storrs, Conn., to take on UConn. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Dartmouth's first home contest is on Sunday, Sept. 2 against Patriot League foe, Holy Cross.
