As often as she appears in this spot Abbey (D'Agostino), like Serena or Venus, can be listed by just one name.  Abbey continues to lead Dartmouth and the Northeast, winning the Northeast Regional Cross Country meet last week by 14 seconds. Noah Cohen has anchored the men's soccer team to the NCAA playoffs, earning honorable mention All-Ivy honors for his play. He is sporting a 1.00 goals against average and has made 69 saves on the season.

With their accomplishments D'Agostino and Cohen have earned the distinction of DartmouthSports.com athletes of the week.

Each week, DartmouthSports.com will spotlight two outstanding student-athletes - one male, one female - as the DartmouthSports.com Athletes of the Week. Student-athletes may be chosen based upon their efforts both on and off the field of competition.

Abbey D'Agostino (Topsfield, Mass.) Sophomore, Cross Country

For the fourth time this fall, sophomore Abbey D'Agostino (Topsfield, Mass.) has been named the DartmouthSports.com Female Athlete of the Week.
Her latest accolade comes after she became the first Dartmouth runner to win the individual title at the Northeast Region Championship this past weekend in suburban Buffalo. Her time bested the second-place finisher by 14 seconds and earned her a spot in the NCAA Championship meet next Monday in Terre Haute, Ind. Two weeks before that, D'Agostino became the first Dartmouth woman since 1997 to win the individual Heptagonal Ivy League mtitle.

Noah Cohen (Norton, Mass.), Sophomore,  GK ,  Soccer

Dartmouth sophomore goalkeeper Noah Cohen (Johannesburg, South Africa) has been quite impressive in goal for the Big Green this season, but especially as of late. Cohen earned Ivy League Player of the Week on Oct. 31 for his efforts in Dartmouth's win over Colgate and tie at Harvard. In the last six contests he has played in, he hasn't allowed more than two goals and has recorded three shutouts. For the season, Cohen has a 1.00 goals against average and has made 69 saves and is tied for No. 6 on Dartmouth's single-season shutout list.
