HANOVER, N.H.- Fresh off his selection as Ivy League Player of the Week, Alex Adelabu (Houston, Texas) was named College Sports Madness Ivy League Player of the Week for his five-point outing against Harvard (Oct. 27).

Adelabu joins teammate Brad Jacobson (Larchmont, N.Y.) as Big Green players to earn the College Sports Madness Player of the Week accolade. Jacobson earned the award on Oct. 8 for his efforts in Dartmouth wins over Vermont and Yale.

Adelabu earns the award after posting two goals and an assist in Dartmouth's Homecoming win over Harvard. The Texas native scored the Big Green's first goal at the 22:35 mark to tie that game at 1-1 and added the game-winner in the 76th minute capitalizing on a Harvard defensive miscue.  He wasn't done and picked up his fifth point of the afternoon with an assist on Alberto Gorini's (Incisa Valderno, Italy) goal in the 83rd minute.

The Harvard game marked Adelabu's second multiple goal game of the season. He also scored two goals in Dartmouth's 3-2 loss at then-No. 7 New Mexico on Sept. 14. He leads the squad with 21 points on nine goals and three assists and is the lone Big Green player with double-figure points.

Dartmouth, winners of its last three and five of its last six, will put its win streak on the line when it travels to Cornell to take on the Big Red in a crucial Ivy League matchup on Saturday (Nov. 3). Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.
