ITHACA, N.Y. – The Dartmouth women’s squash team fell at Cornel, 7-2, on Sunday afternoon in Ivy League action at the Belkin International Squash Courts.

The loss snaps a two-game winning streak for the Big Green (3-6, 1-4 Ivy League), while the Big Red (7-3, 3-2 Ivy) won their third home game of the year.

Nina Scott won her match, 3-1, at No. 3 for the Dartmouth. With the match tied at one apiece, Scott won the next two games. The Riverside, Conn., native won the fourth game, 12-10 versus Rachel Sherman.

The other Dartmouth player to earn a point was Helena Darling. Darling rallied from a 2-1 deficit to score a five-set win. The junior rallied to take the fourth game, 11-8, and won the fifth game, 11-4.

The Big Green women return to action on Wednesday, Feb. 5, with  a non-conference tilt at Williams.

Kensy Balch lost to Brynn Daniels 1-3, 7-11, 11-6, 8-11, 9-11 (31 minutes).
Helena Darling beat Rachel Au 3-2,14-16, 11-8, 7-11, 11-8, 11-4 (51 minutes).
Lydie McKenzie lost to Reut Odinak 0-3, 6-11, 8-11, 9-11 (25 minutes).
Tori Dewey lost to Olivia Wherry, 1-3, 5-11, 7-11, 11-4, 6-11 (28 minutes).
Sarah Caughey lost to Laura Caty 2-3, 8-11, 11-5, 11-2, 6-11, 10-12 (35 minutes).
