WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Dartmouth women’s squash team capped the 2013-14 regular season with a dominant 9-0 victory over Williams on Wednesday evening.

The Big Green (5-7) ended the year winning four of their last six to qualify for Flight A of the CSA Team Championships, while the Ephs (13-13) lost their fourth straight.

The shutout win was the first this year for the team from the Upper Valley.

Jacqueline Barnes, Nina Scott, Lydie McKenzie, Tori Dewey and Sarah Caughey all won their matches in three games.

Kensy Balch, Melina Turk and Helena Darling each scored 3-1 come-from-behind victories for Dartmouth.

In her final regular season collegiate match, Katherine Nimmo earned an impressive five-set triumph. After dropping the first two games, the Wellesley, Mass., native won the final three, highlighted by a resounding 11-1 win in the fifth game.

The Big Green women return to action this weekend, Feb. 14-16, competing in Flight A of the CSA Team Championships. A year after capturing the Kurtz Cup in Flight B, Dartmouth looks to make a splash amongst the top eight teams.
