CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The regular season officially began Wednesday night for the No. 8 Dartmouth women's squash team as it traveled to Harvard to take on the top-ranked Crimson.

The No. 1 team in the country was too much on this night for the Big Green as the home team came away with a 9-0 win.

Playing at the No. 7 spot and making her Dartmouth debut, freshman Tori Dewey played the team's match of the day. After taking an early lead against Harvard's Megan Murray in the first game, the two traded points before Murray finally earned a 14-12 win. She rebounded with wins in the second and fourth games (11-5 and 11-1) to force a fifth. However, Murray proved to be too much in the final frame as the Crimson sophomore earned an 11-3 win to take the match, 3-2.

Sophomores Oona Morris and Sarah Caughly each won one game as they played in the No. 8 and No. 9 spots on the ladder. Caughly pulled even at one game apiece by winning her second of the match, while Morris staved off an early elimination with an 11-1 win in the third game of her match.

The women will be back in action on Friday, Nov. 30 as they take on St. Lawrence at 5 p.m. as part of the Fall Classic at Dartmouth. For a complete listing of the weekend's schedule, please continue to check back with
