HANOVER, N.H. - Two members of the Dartmouth women’s lacrosse team have been named to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association Division I (IWLCA) Academic Honor Roll for the 2014 season.

Rising seniors Sydney Ellis and Samantha Schiff both earned spots on the list by meeting the IWLCA’s criteria that required student-athletes to carry a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 and have achieved at least junior status while being nominated by their institution.

Ellis enters her final season in Hanover, majoring in psychology. Schiff is a double major in economics and government.

Recognition for academic success is nothing new for the Dartmouth women’s lacrosse program. Earlier in August, the team was honored as a whole by the IWLCA as one of the recipients of the 2014 All-Academic Squad distinction.
