HANOVER, N.H. – The Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced its 2014 Academic Honor Squads Monday morning. Once again, Dartmouth made the list and was recognized for its diligence in the classroom.

The Big Green were one of 84 programs from across Division I to be honored for their successes away from the field of competition and in the realm of academia.

In order to qualify for this accolade, teams must achieve a 3.0 grade point average as a whole during the academic year in which their season was played. Dartmouth surpassed that figure in 2013-14, posting a 3.33 GPA.

All eight Ivy League teams were on the list, demonstrating the conference’s dedication to not only high-level lacrosse, but also a high level of academic achievements.
