Q and A with Evan:
I've wanted to go to Dartmouth since I was in the second grade. Growing up ski racing in Connecticut, I remember coming up to the Dartmouth Skiway for some junior races and driving through campus, thinking it was the coolest place for a ski racer to be. When I remained competitive throughout high school, it was thrilling to realize that my dream had become a real possibility.
How long have you been skiing and what got you interested in skiing?
I began skiing at age 2 and was racing just before my seventh birthday. My dad was a ski instructor and former college racer who put me on skis before I really had a choice. Looking back at it though, I'm grateful he got me into skiing at such a young age.
Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates.
I used to be a baseball player before giving it up for skiing full time. I also have an older brother and younger sister, who are both ski racers. My dad coached all three of us until high school.
What extracurricular activities are you involved in on campus?
