STICK CHECK

What drew you to the Dartmouth Lacrosse Program?
I was drawn to the program because of Amy’s commitment to make sure that we all grow every day as lacrosse players and as people. I knew that every day would be a learning experience that would give me the skills to be successful in whatever I choose to do.

What is your favorite Dartmouth Lacrosse moment?
My favorite moments have been hearing the juniors talk about the seniors before the senior game every year, and in particular having the opportunity to do it myself last spring. The ability to vocalize to friends and teammates how much of an impact they have had on your Dartmouth experience has been a pretty powerful moment for me.

What has been your favorite class while at Dartmouth?
War and Peace in the Modern Age.  It’s a Government class taught by my favorite professor on the changing nature of warfare and impact that war can have on relationships in the international system.

What is the best part about a Dartmouth Lacrosse road trip?
Roommates. No question about it. The breakfast buffets are usually pretty good too.

What is the feeling you get when putting on a Dartmouth uniform?
There is no feeling like it. All the pride of being a part of the Dartmouth program comes rushing at you along with all the months of hard work and preparation that has gone into the season.  Beyond that, the knowledge that you are representing not just yourself but also Dartmouth, the years of alums that paved the way before you, and the years of future players that are going to follow you is incredibly empowering.
