Ross Lannan enters his first season with the Dartmouth men's and women's swimming and diving programs.

Lannan spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach at Bryant University. Lannan helped the Bulldogs set numerous school records and helped the squad transition to Division I.  He also mentored three-time NEC Swimmer of the Meet Casey Ostrander on the women's team.

Lannan was one of 10 participants selected to participate in the America Swimming Coaches Association (ASCA) Fellowship from Sept. 2010-Sept. 2011. Lannan's research was focused on "Coaching Boys" and was presented at the ASCA World Clinic in Las Vegas.

A four-year letterwinner at Pittsburgh, Lannan was a finalist at the BIG EAST Championship in the 100 and 200 backstroke events and qualified for the USA Swimming Grand Prix in 2006.
