HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth junior Robert Osgood was named to the 2014 All-New England Second Team by the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) late Tuesday afternoon.

This latest honor comes on the heels of Osgood earning All-Ivy League Honorable Mention recognition in April. 

The Marblehead, Massachusetts, native proved to be the team’s top defender all season, regularly given the responsibility of covering the opposition’s best players throughout the spring, serving as the anchor of the Big Green’s backend. 

Osgood was among the team leaders in several categories this season, finishing second in caused turnovers (12), as well as fourth in both ground balls (32) and assists (4).

Bryant’s Kevin Massa was named the 2014 NEILA Player of the Year, while Harvard’s Chris Wojcik and Nick Mariano of UMass were tabbed as the Coach and Rookie of the Year, respectively.
