Donald Brooks joined the Big Green staff in 2011 after spending five years at Williams College. Brooks’ primary responsibilities will be to assist with the development of research programs designed to enhance student-athlete athletic performance and collaborate with individuals on- and off-campus to provide services related to Dartmouth Peak Performance. Brooks will also assist in academic support for student-athletes and other services for varsity athletes.

Brooks filled a number of roles at Williams, and spent the past three years as Assistant Professor of Physical Education and Assistant Director of Athletics, while also serving as an assistant coach in football and men’s lacrosse.

He previously coached football at Springfield College and served as Athletics Director at the New Leadership Charter School.

A starter on the offensive line while an undergraduate at Springfield, he earned both his B.A. (2002) and M.Ed. (2008) from the Massachusetts school. Brooks is a member of the National Association of Athletic Development Directors (NAADD).
