HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth sailing teams competed in Maryland this past weekend at two regattas with their best finish at the St. Mary's Women's Intersectional. At the Intersectional, the Big Green took fifth out of 18 teams. Dartmouth also raced at the Truxtun Umstead Trophy and took 11th of 18.

At the St. Mary's women's Intersectional, held at St. Mary City, Md., the team made its move in the B Division where it had the top score of 36 points. Dartmouth finished with the 11th-best total in the A Division with 97 points for a total of 133. Georgetown won the regatta with 71 points and Yale finished second with 117 points.

Over in Annapolis, Md., the Big Green finished with 233 points in the four-division Truxtun Umstead Trophy. Yale won the event with 127 points and Tufts placed second with 155 points. The Big Green had their best finish in the B Division with 42 points, which put them seventh in the division. In the A Division, Dartmouth scored 58 points, which was the eighth best total. The Big Green registered 68 points in the C Division and 65 points in the D Divsion.

Dartmouth competes at five regattas next weekend, March 24-25.
