HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth College Athletic Department is excited to lend its support to National Girls and Women in Sports Day with free events for local youth groups and teams. 

The Big Green -  in conjunction with thousands of sports educators, coaches, athletic directors, recreation directors, association members, sponsors, students, and parents across the country will host a series of events to celebrate the participation of girls and women in sports. 

In celebration, Dartmouth will participate in the upcoming "Girls Sportsfest" clinic to be held  Saturday, Feb. 2 at the Lebanon CCBA from 10:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m, onsite registration begins at 9:30 a.m. Representatives from a variety of Dartmouth Varsity Athletic Teams will be on site at this event. Dartmouth will celebrate NGWSD at two upcoming women's athletic events: women's basketball against Columbia on Friday, Feb. 8 at 7 p.m. at Leede Arena and women's hockey against Yale on Saturday, Feb. 9 at 4 p.m.  at Thompson Arena. Both games will feature raffles and free giveaways along with opportunities to "meet and greet" with current female Big Green athletes from fall, winter and spring sports.

These games are ticketed events and in recognition of their participation in a sports program or youth group, all youth boys' and girls' teams and groups are invited to receive complimentary admission to either or both of these games.

In order to receive FREE ADMISSION, coaches or leaders must complete the online registration form by Wednesday, Feb. 6. The form will ask for the organization's contact information and for a list of participants that wish to attend. If you are registering multiple groups, please fill out a separate form for each group. Once the form is submitted, Google will confirm your submission.
