HANOVER, N.H.  -  Dartmouth Athletics and Granite United Way are teaming up in celebration of United Way Day of Caring on Saturday, September 29.

At Dartmouth football’s Ivy League opener against Penn, kickoff at noon, Upper Valley fans and friends are being encouraged to come to Memorial Field, cheer on the Big Green and raise money to support United Way.

Dartmouth Athletics will donate $1 from every adult ticket to benefit Granite United Way.

"Our longstanding partnership with the United Way means a great deal to us,” said Dartmouth Athletic Director Harry Sheehy. “There are many great causes out there, but none have as much impact on our own Upper Valley neighbors as the United Way."

Granite United Way serves over half a million residents in New Hampshire and Vermont including the entire Upper Valley. Through 60 partner agencies, Granite United Way focuses on the basic things we all need for a good life: a quality education that leads to a stable job, income that can support a family through retirement, and good health.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Dartmouth Ticket Office in the Berry Sports Center, by calling (603) 646-2466, visiting the online ticket office at DartmouthSports.com, or on the day of the game.
