Bill Johnston begins the 2010-11 season as the new Assistant Athletic Director in charge of Marketing.
Johnston comes to Hanover with marketing experience at three different colleges. Most recently he was an Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Corporate Sponsorships at Gardner-Webb University. While with the Runnin' Bulldogs Johnston managed all corporate sponsorships, surpassing the goal within the first three months.
He also spent two years as the Assistant Director of Marketing, Fan Development and Group Sales for the University of Akron. Prior to Akron, he was the Assistant Director of Marketing at the University of Michigan where he implemented a True Blue Rewards Program that was designed to raise attendance at 23 of Michigan's 25 sports.
