WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Dartmouth women's track & field team ran, threw and jumped to a fifth-place finish at the 2017 New England Outdoor Championship Saturday afternoon.

Williams' Lee Track at the Weston Athletic Complex is the host venue for this year's meet where the Big Green and UMass tied for fifth with 53 points.

Northeastern took the team title with 102.5 points, with Rhode Island (102) finishing a half point back.

-       The duo of Bridget Flynn and Bridget O'Neill were second and fifth, respectively, in the 1500m. Flynn ran a 4:24.60 to take second and earn eight points, while O'Neill posted 4:33.78 to add four points.
-       Claire Dougherty and Annalisa Crowe were third and sixth, respectively, in the 800m. Dougherty crossed in 2:09.41 to take third and earn six points, while the three points from Crowe came after a 2:12.26.
-       In the final of the 400m hurdles, Katy Sprout ran a 1:01.83 to take third and earn an additional six points.
