HANOVER, N.H. – The No. 11 Dartmouth women’s squash team fell to No. 5 Yale in the regular season finale. The Big Green finish the season with a 5-9 record while the Bulldogs improve to 10-4.

First on the court was sophomore Julia Potter who fought a long and hard five-gamer but did not win the match. Freshman Sandra Reiss played a talented opponent, who shut her out in three games while freshman Ellie Gozigian also lost in three games. 

The second round saw more matches going the way of Yale, as sophomore Emma Roberts lost in a three-game sweep and freshman Brynn Bank could not force her opponent to give up a game. Finally, senior co-captain Rebecca Brownell gave her opponent a run for their money, but was unable to convert any of the games.

In the last round, sophomore Annie Blasberg played another fast-paced and exciting match, but could not take any wins. Senior co-captain Zainab Molani managed to get one game off her opponent, and fellow senior Janel Gaube took her match to five games but lost the decider.

Dartmouth will take its final team outing to Harvard on Friday to play In the national championships.
